Our team

Our team is called "Vitesse". "Vitesse" means "speed" in French and we chose this name, since the members of our team are students of Hellenic French School Kalamari. We compete in the F1 in Schools competition for 4 years now. The biggest moment in our history is the participation in the World Finals of this competition, in July 2022. This year we aim to reach the Top 5 teams of the National Finals and be qualified to the World Finals.

Our philosophy

Our members believe in team spirit. More specifically, everyone has the right to express their opinion and the others should treat them respectfully. In addition to this, our members are dedicated to their work and want to have the best possible result. Finally, we all agree that each year we have to improve our performance by thinking of new, innovative ideas.

Our History

Our journey begins in 2019. Our team is formed by our first leader "Eleonora". Our school had already 2 paricipation in the competition, but this one was the first succesful one. In 2019, due to Covid-19 we were not able to attend the National Finals physically. However, we managed to obtain the 9th place, our first time in the Top-10. In 2020-2021, we managed to obtain the 5th place and be qualified to the world finals 2022. In 2022 we got the 8th place in the National Finals. 

Goals

Our main goals are:

• The design of the fastest car for the National Finals.

• The best possible digital promotion of our team.

• The aquisition of as many sponsorships as possible.

• All the above by promoting sustainability
